Proof Rolls Out Two Of Its Fresh-Tasting Summertime Flavor Favorites

It’s beginning to taste a lot like summer at PROOF Hard Ice Cream’s manufacturing facility on the Business Accelerator Campus of Midland’s Technical College. Popular seasonal flavor combinations Coconut Rum and Cheesecake Moonshine are making their way from the manufacturing floor to grocery retailers across the Carolinas. 

“With quarantine slowly lifting, and temperatures quickly rising, consumers have more reasons to smile again, including our ice cream,” said Jenn Randall, founder of PROOF Hard Ice Cream. “Coconut Rum and Cheesecake Moonshine offer distinct alcohol tastes combined with light, fresh, summertime flavors to give you a spirited end-product that you’ll find hard to stop eating.” 

PROOF partnered with Lowe’s Foods in late 2019 to sell the 5% ABV alcohol ice cream in stores across North and South Carolina. The brand’s signature red freezers can be found in close proximity to Lowe’s ever-popular Beer Dens. 

“We’re fortunate to have a number of amazing retail partners, especially Lowe’s Foods, and it was incredible to observe the work ethic of their employees during these past few months of the health pandemic,” Randall added. “Our hats go off to everyone who has been working on the front lines during COVID-19.”
